The bulbs (most sellers refer to them as "lamps") are miniature light bulbs 2752MF (or miniature lamps 2752MF).  You can get them much cheaper online than from a dealer.  Try searching one of the sources listed here.   LED's might work, but I didn't try them.  An advantage of an LED lamp would be it would probably never need replacing again!
